Tourism Experience  

This is a program designed for the youth participants to build an ideal tour of a community around Los Angeles, and then host the tour with narration.  This activity will help them to develop the skills needed to lead and inform others, along with building their research and public speaking skills.

Show-Up Workshop  

Six 2-hour virtual sessions that focus on confidence and skill-building activities such as 

public speaking, self-presentation, time management, and emotional intelligence to demonstrate how you "show-up" for yourself and others.

Cultural Community Tours

Participants tour one of many local communities that offer different ethnicities and cultural experiences around Los Angeles.  During the tour, they connect with peers in the respective community to collaborate and learn more about their heritage, beliefs, customs, differences, and similarities.   

Cultural UnderstandingWorkshops

Individual sessions created to look into the multiple cultures of our communities. 

We will study inclusive behaviors, understand code-switching, slang, tone of voice, and more.  Also, identifying customs of respect/disrespect, anger vs passion, etc.

Our end-of-the-year gala celebration of our participants.  We award scholarships, certificates, thank our partners and sponsors and other activities to acknowledge the success of the program.
