Our program services include those within organizations that serve youth in all capacities – schools, communities, churches, foster care, incarcerated, teen moms, etc.
An acronym built of seven words that establish the core of each "Experience" principle:
Examine, Motivate, Believe, Respect, Accept, Celebrate, & Embrace.
Participants are charged with identifying each of the principles in every experience they engage in.
What's your identity? Who are you? Where did you come from? What family? What community? What ancestry? What is your story?
Loving yourself makes it easier to love others.
What are your dreams, goals, and aspirations?
Encourage yourself. Learn and understand the "why" about these things so that you may do the same for others.
Who told you you couldn’t be or have or obtain what you desire? Who do you believe? Learn to believe in and affirm yourself and know that you can have whatever it is, then you can do the same for others.
How do you tell others to treat you? How do you speak, think, present, or carry yourself? What does it mean to respect yourself? Show others how to respect you and you learn to respect others in return.
What are you good at? What are you not so good at? What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? What makes you happy, sad, or angry? What are your fears? The list goes on. Know and understand that this is who you are and you will be able to understand, others have to answer the same questions for themselves.
You're good enough. You're capable. You're worth it. You deserve it. Don't doubt yourself. Applaud yourself. Look how far you've come and what you came through. Celebrate yourself and you will be able to celebrate others.
Look at yourself in the mirror and hug yourself. You are the only you. Tell yourself you're no better than anyone and no one is better than you. Love yourself, acknowledge and embrace everything about yourself, When you can do this for yourself, then you can love and embrace others.
